The American Chemical Society has published several resources useful for homeschool families. All of these resources are FREE for the taking.
At the core of what they offer is an entire Middle School Chemistry course — 700 pages you can print or use online including labs, printable activity sheets, videos, student reading and teacher guides.
In addition to Middle School Chemistry, you’ll also find the following, also free:
Energy Foundations for High School Chemistry (includes exercises, lab investigations, videos and demos focusing on the fundamentals of chemical, mechanical, nuclear and gravitational energy)
Here are a few other FREE Chemistry Resources I’ve discovered:
You Be The Chemist Activity Guides from The Chemistry Education Foundation – elementary and middle school
Free live video Chemistry tele class from Supercharged Science appropriate for all grades
Classroom Resources for middle and high school from the American Academy of Chemistry Teachers (requires membership with a cost of $50)
